I did a lot of research on my options to replace my failing battery in my 2011 Hyundai. Was skeptical about buying the lowest price option, but Ener-Z helped me identify the exact model needed and the replacement was overall smooth (buy some 400v safety gloves for your protection and take your time!). Would highly recommend this company. 2 weeks in and 500 miles with no issues. Communication was excellent via phone, email, and text. Shipping was a bit delayed but only because they do multiple days of bench testing. They saved the car from going to junk yard (dealer wanted 10k to fix).

I initially had a positive experience because I could pick up the battery myself. However, after installing it in my 2008 Mercury Mariner hybrid, the vehicle only ran for 10 seconds before shutting off, displaying a P0A1F Battery Energy Control Module Internal error. The second battery, received under warranty, worked temporarily after a specific charging process, but soon encountered issues, potentially due to an old 12V battery. After replacing the 12V battery, the P0A1F code reappeared on my scanner tool. The situation worsened when the car shut off again, just as I was leaving my parking lot. I was fortunate to be able to restart it and park back safely, avoiding an expensive tow.

Finally, after replacing the battery a third time, it appears to be reliable for now, but only time will tell. Throughout this ordeal, the shop owner was very rude on the phone, often getting frustrated with me despite my legitimate concerns as a customer. On multiple occasions, he even hung up on me mid-conversation. It's unbelievable that a professional business owner would show such disrespect to a customer.

Did a lot of research before finding Ener-Z online. They had the best pricing around for a refurbished 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid battery. Ordered online, picked it up and swapped out my old battery. The car is now like new again at 187,000 miles (and 15 years of service). I toured the shop and saw the process they use to check all of the battery cells. Impressive. Great value! Highly recommend.

Edward is the real deal. I sent in my battery out of 2012 Ford Focus Electric named “Sparky”, I just thought it would be a fun name, and he and his crew made it look new. The cells had puffed up and on this model it causes a coolant leak inside the battery. P0AA6 code and the red triangle of death. After removing the battery and placing it on a pallet Edward had a shipper pick up my battery ground freight. It was repaired and returned to me in like new condition for a very reasonable price considering. I installed the battery and my little electric car is running like a champ. Thank you for everything!
