I've travelled around the country and the world visiting Marriott Courtyards. This facility was the lowest rating of the Marriotts I've visited. I'm very disappointed as it was a family wedding and we stayed several nights. The hotel is "tired" and in need of major renovation/refreshing. The carpets outdated, the rooms unappealing, and there are few amenities. There is a Starbucks in the lobby but open only during the morning. The lobby has ample seating and that was nice. But no breakfast included in your stay and the cost of Starbucks breakfast could break the bank if you have family to pay for. In all, I would not stay here again and I am surprised that Marriott corporate hasn't updated this venue to the status of which it is accustomed in their portfolio.

I've been a Marriott Bonvoy member for years, Usually love the stay, I've never had an issue. This location has a difficult/argumentative staff. Room 338 has an issue with hot water. At $200 a day, I believe I should be able to take a warm/Hot shower. After bringing it to the staff's attention, I was told" Yeah that happens, we have hot water issues. Tech showed up very quickly, but unfortunately was not able to correct the issue. I was met with only arguments and nonsense at the front desk. I was offered a " complementary breakfast ", (which I denied) to compensate for not having hot water. It unfortunately took way too long to get the room swapped. The new room was perfectly acceptable and had the appropriate water temperature/ pressure. Luckily I have every interaction with staff audio and video recorded, I suggest everyone does the same. I'm still a supporter of Marriott, but I respectfully will never stay here again, nor will I ever have any of me employees stay here.

I usually love staying at Marriott Courtyard properties or Hilton Garden Inn properties. They are always consistently clean, and convenient both in location and for the small amenities they have to offer. most of the reviews that I write are glowing reviews. But I’m always honest about the negatives. And I had to write this review to tell you that there are so many other options nearby than to stay at this place. It’s dated, overcrowded , unclean, and the lack of available amenities here in contrast to what the other local places have to offer is pretty significant. I mean this in terms of availability of coffee, small continental breakfast, beverages, snacks, etc. I found staff to be extremely unhelpful, unable to answer my questions, and not friendly, customer service wise. I’ll make sure to skip this hotel the next time I need to book a room and I will tell my friends to do the same.

This Hotel was in a very good location. There were several places within walking distance for you to eat and shop. There is a Walmart right across from the hotel that is also within walking distance. The hotel itself appeared clean, although our room 100 was a bit moldy smelling. It was clean for the most part, it just did not have that fresh clean smell. They did give us a room to accommodate my request for a feather free room, which maybe why we were assigned that particular room. This room is by the outside door that requires hotel key access. This was a king with a sofa bed, however the sofa bed is small and once opened will block the air conditioning vents. I did like the bathroom set up since it provided total privacy and even within the bathroom provided additional privacy. I would suggest to this Courtyard to update their shower area and get rid of the tub and perhaps add a walk in shower with glass doors. I also think they should install new carpet, because I think that is the cause of the moldy smell in the room. There is a Starbucks coffee area in the hotel as well as a bar area that served drinks and food. The staff at the front desk was outstanding and did a wonderful job accommodating so many of the wedding party family and friends checking in. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would most likely stay here again.

We booked The Courtyard Marriott Republic Airport in Farmingdale as our wedding room block because they were the preferred vendor for our wedding venue. While Stefanie was nice, our overall experience with the Marriott was not great. ||First, when we booked the room block we were told time after time that we could add rooms to our block. While we expressed on multiple occasions that we may need to expand the block, we were told to wait until the date was closer or more rooms were booked because they could accommodate adding more rooms with no problem. However, a few months before the wedding the entire property got booked solid because of a lacrosse tournament that was in town that weekend, so we were unable to add any more rooms to our block. If they had added on the rooms when we had originally suggested it, then we would have had enough rooms for our guests. We then had to scramble to find another hotel in the area that would accommodate us. This was also after we had just printed hundreds of detail cards for our invitations with the Marriott's room block info on it so we had to pay hundreds of dollars to get them reprinted. When we asked several times if there was anything they could do since this was a big inconvenience for us, they offered us nothing and we received a shocking lack of customer service. ||When the date for our block approached, several of our guests experienced multiple issues such as being charged incorrect rates, having rooms canceled, a toilet broken in two rooms, and the air conditioner in my suite broke the day of the wedding. It was embarrassing and added more stress to an already high-stress event in our lives. ||Note that the other hotel we booked for our block had zero issues, was more affordable for our guests, and even comped the groom's room when they didn't even have to! Meanwhile, we experienced issue after issue at the Marriott. We used to be fans of Marriott but after this experience, we plan to take our business elsewhere. We also do not recommend this location for a wedding room block and have expressed this to our venue. There are better and more accommodating hotels in the area.

I do not leave reviews but this one deserves it. Paid $325 for one night here and it was horrible. First off, Walked into the room and it smelled atrocious, humid and musty. Secondly, my shower was clogged. I asked front desk to check it out and when we returned to our room they left the tub a mess with all the residual after unclogging it. As a marriott bonvoy member this is unacceptable.

I left a review after my stay, saying how disappointed I was because I thought I might have left an expensive item in the room and no one reached out to me. Less than a day after I posted the review, I got an email from the front desk manager, Jessica telling me they found my item and would ship it to me out of state at no charge. Everything cannot be perfect all the time but this hotel did everything to make things right for us. Will most definitely recommend this hotel! Thank you Jessica!
