We like to stay here when in the area to visit our grandson. The Element is a nice hotel with clean, large rooms. I appreciate the ability to make my own snacks or tea in the room and the bed is quite comfortable. The staff went out of its way on our last visit in late September to help us obtain an early breakfast before our 'crack of dawn' flight. We were very grateful to them for their assistance as there isn't much food available at the airport.

Nice hotel, modern rooms, well maintained and well furnished. There is a small kitchen in every room for basic cooking with some kitchen tools and pans. There is also a microwave of course. The hotel is near a shopping center so there are a few ships and restaurants nearby. The staff is nice. There are bicycles for rent in the lobby. There is a swimming pool.

Spent multiple nights here on separate business trips and both times had a very pleasant experience. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. It's also located in a busy shopping area so everything is nearby. Highly recommend.

Positive: The room was designed well with modern and upscale finishes. The bed was very comfortable with crispy soft sheets, shower was very big and good water pressure. The hotel is secured with a key entrance to the front door. I enjoyed the fresh berries. Negative: Light too bright in bathroom especially at night when you're half asleep. Not enough counter space in bathroom. Breakfast choices was lacking a meat option and overall very limited. Staff seems occupied on the computer and not very attentive to guests. Negative: ""

The hotel was in a safe location near lots of stores and restaurants. The front desk staff were nice and polite. The two issues we had were: (1) a couple stains on the king bed and a dirty bathroom sink (which house cleaning came and fixed promptly) and (2) the server at breakfast. They were serving avocado toast and the first time we went up, the server/cook was fine; however, when I went up a second time and ordered the server was standoff-ish. Then after 10 min I went back to grab my toast and the server made me wait in the line again even though I had already done that an ordered. When I got to the front, I asked for two toasts since there was two of us, and the server was like I am busy and there are other guests waiting. He was very rude and condescending about it. Additionally, a guest had her dog in her arms and was walking around the breakfast area and her dog was sniffing everything. I like dogs but it is gross having a dog up at the level of the food and sniffing it. There were multiple staff members around and none of them said anything to the guest.

I have already stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time, but this is probably my last time. This breakfast was just awful, unlike all the previous ones, it really upset me. One of the toasters only toasts on one side and there are clearly not enough of them, you always have to wait. The eggs were not fresh, the sausages were overcooked and with a lot of oil, the raisins in the muesli were hard as a rock. The air conditioning in the room does not work correctly, or blows too much cold, or if you make it warmer it starts to heat.

The rooms, cleaning and reception staff are all super!

Absolutely one of the best hotels in terms of service I have stayed at lately. Zee, front desk staff member, is an outstanding: professional, friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for you. I highly recommend this Element if you ever come and visit Sacramento. The location is excellent with plenty of food and shopping around within walking distance. The exercise room is perfect and the room are very well organized and kept.

Wonderful rooms and great service, however the pool policy was unreasonable. No one is allowed to used the pool after dark. By the time I am done with my work agenda and I am able to relax the sun is going down. Because of this I will not be giving 5 star and will not be returning for another stay.
