I was really worried because I broke down in LA after driving all the way from Tucson, and I didn’t know anyone to ask if they knew anyone. The car was sounding like new sneakers, shaking really bad, and I could smell the no-flat tire burning. I just looked for a place with good reviews and hoped I’d find someone honest. I was so glad that I found these guys. Something in Armen’s voice reassured me, and I left it with them over the weekend. They fixed a bent tire, put in new shocks, and aligned the car, and now it is running like a dream! I made it back to Tucson. Thanks so much! The price was reasonable, and the work was great! I may just drive it all the way to Studio City when I need a mechanic next time :)They’re the best!

I brought my car in this morning to get a full diagnostic and check up. I told them I’m going on a road trip and need to make sure my car is safe to drive.
One gentleman told me my suspension arm was visibly cracked, the next told me they couldn’t send me a picture of this because it’s not a visible crack. Overall they recommended nearly 3k in work (suspension arm repair + fix tire cupping issue)

I took my car in for a second opinion - they recommend I add a quarter gallon of oil. And that’s it. My bushings were not cracked nor were my tires cupping

I really appreciate the service I receive at Funk Bros, way more than my previous place which was the Toyota Dealership. Hov & Armen are kind, efficient, and professionals at what they do. They’re always honest and transparent. They take the time to do a free inspection, send you an exact breakdown of total costs and issues and walk you thru the process. That’s very detailed and organized.
Another reason I love Funk Bros is they’re so flexible. The Toyota dealership requires an appointment which is so inflexible so I love the flexibility that Funk offers. You won’t be disappointed and their prices are reasonable and fair. Thank you Hov & Armen!

Came to Funk Bros. Auto looking to get my brake light fixed and was told that they were unable to fix it & I would have to go directly to the dealer itself to have it fixed.

The next day, I went across the street to Discount Tire & Service Center and they fixed my issue in all of 10 minutes.

I also didn't think the staff at Funk Bros. was particularly nice, either. Quite standoffish and cold to new customers, but very different disposition when interacting with customers they know (I observed this first-hand). I suppose that's natural, but it made me feel weird that I was being treated with such blatant disregard whilst other customers were being treated with far more care, general pleasantness and patience.

My roommate swears by this place, but I wanted to come on here and speak to my experience.

I was also charged more than double the rate to fix my brake light here, than I was at Discount Tire and Service Center across the street.

Save your time and money! Go to the shop across the street.

This was my second time going to Funk Bros for maintenance on my Nissan Sentra and they are great! Prices are very reasonable and my car is running more perfect than ever. The first time I went my car needed brake fluid, new brake pads, oil change, and engine coolant. I paid $1440 incl tax which I think is a very decent price range. This time I just got an oil change and tire rotation and I paid $105 incl tax. I do recommend going very early in the morning or they do let you leave your car overnight for pick up the next day (depending on the work that needs to be done) just because it gets so busy.
On top of this they always follow up within the week of taking your car in to make sure everything is running smoothly with your vehicle. Service is a 10.
