Hyatt Place hotel is a modern, clean hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Our only issues were there was no mirror in the room itself that my wife could use for makeup and the mirror in the bathroom was too far away from the sink so it was difficult to shave accurately. The hotel is about 3.5 miles from downtown Park City, but there are free shuttle buses every half hour that can take you there.

Stayed early October with my wife. The rooms were clean, breakfast was awesome, and the location is great. The concierge was awesome spending time explaining what free activities they offered, and what was going on around Park City the days we were there. The problem we had is with the room. We stayed in room 3222 and the deadbolt would not line up and latch. We told the front desk about it and no attempts were made to repair it or change us rooms. One day someone began to enter our room but was stopped by the security latch . There was no knocks or announcement of who they were (I really hope it was housekeeping) they just opened the door and were stopped by the door’s security guard. My wife was by herself at the time and it really freaked her out. We let the front desk know and then left. We reached out to the hotel via their post stay survey and received an “I’m sorry” email. Hopefully they can better train their staff and listen to their customers.

My sisters and I were celebrating a joint birthday and bachelorette trip. Paul and his team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! They decorated our room and left goodies for us - seriously, so thoughtful and sweet! The location was great, the service top notch, and the room was very clean. I’d love to stay again!

This is an amazing Hyatt Place. Highly recommend it.

It's a few miles from downtown Park City, but there's still plenty around in terms of food, and it's about a mile to the Canyon Villages base area which includes the Red Pine Gondola and a few additional lifts to get you to the mountain.

The property is really pretty inside and out -- definitely has that alpine feeling. They have fire pits and rocking chairs around the property and will give you s'mores kits if you ask. Great pool and hot tub.

The rooms are standard Hyatt Place rooms, but extremely clean with everything working including outlets next to bed. Furniture is in good shape and the bathroom was extremely clean. Ample free parking.

And lastly, the staff is wonderful, helpful, and do everything they can to make your stay excellent.

Highly recommend.

Everything was great at this Hyatt Place. The staff was very helpful, the accommodations were very nice, and the hot breakfast variety was great. The area around the hotel was wonderful with the fall colors. The location was perfect for our time in Park City. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lora Tinney, the assistant manager treated our family in a completely unprofessional manner. We have been staying at this hotel since 2019 and love our Hyatt hotels, specially this one. We were thrilled this year to find they had bikes. Our adult child and one other member in our party checked out a bike. Bikes were rented and returned from 6-6:28 pm. Upon arrival they checked back in and were told by the kind lady running the bar that an employee would lock them up later(that employee was on a break) Sebastian, was supposed to be the one locking the bikes up. Two days later at 5:18 we get a call saying they just discovered the bike chain was broken. $140 will be charged to our card. We returned fully functional bikes, followed protocol and have no proof that the bikes were ever locked. Sebastian, the employee said by phone that it was too dark to see when he locked the bikes(it was light for a few more hours when we returned it). We tried to speak with the manager, she was condescending. Refused to check the camera or hear about the digital workout app that we have proof of. The workout app shows a consistent speed all the way back to the hotel.

The staff were really awesome and polite, but I will choose other Hyatt locations in Park City in the future because…
The security door on the side of the building was broken, so anyone could walk in without a key.
There’s a crazy $75 nonrefundable pet fee for a single night stay with a dog—the 2 other Hyatt Place locations I stayed at during this road trip charged no such fees.
The bed was incredibly worn down and uncomfortable relative to other Hyatt Place locations. The carpet and thermostat in the rooms is pretty outdated.
I’m so glad I chose to check this place out on a road trip before coming here for 1-week ski trip during peak ski season!!
