My name is Durell. My wife and I purchased a 2025 Ram 1500 from your dealership. The vehicle has a faulty side mirror. I was told it would be fixed before the vehicle was delivered and it wasn’t. I have been in contact with the Jack Powell team about this issue and requested a resolution, but I feel as if I’m being pushed aside and being treated like I purchased an “as is” vehicle from a “buy here, pay here”, dealership. Some of the replies from the team are unnecessary and unprofessional.

Issues:

-I was promised mirror would be fixed before delivery (it was not and was only added to the due bill because of my wife’s attentiveness)
-Mirror was rigged (3x) to not move and I was ordered not to touch the retraction button until a back ordered part arrived and my vehicle was fixed.
-Mirror continues to move during operation of my vehicle.
-Mirror is a safety hazard to me and my family

Jack Powell Team response:

-Jeremy(sales):
*The car is fine and only needs two mirrors to be considered safe.
*We tried to get you to buy another car, you chose that one.
*You said you had a motorcycle, use it.

-Internet sales manager:
* I understand you are frustrated, but I don’t make the cars or service them.
*I can’t take a manager off a sale to assist you, they’ll get back to you on Monday. The best I can do.

-Older salesman:
*I like to solve problems but I can’t make the part appear.
*The two choices are to let us keep the car and fix it or you wait until the part comes in.

-Service man
*I fixed the mirror already, you can’t touch the folding button

Is this proper protocol and what customers should expect from the Jack Powell brand?

*Updated*Purchased a 2025 Ram. The salesmen Greg and X were very helpful. However the truck has a malfunctioning driver side mirror. It pops and moves while driving and the cover at the bottom of the mirror pops off and bangs against the door and window. Being that this is a brand new car with an issue identified before I left the lot, I feel the issue should have been fixed before delivery, or a vehicle of equal or better value should have been given to me until the problem was resolved. Im told a part has be ordered but I'm not sure when to expect it.
NEW UPDATE:
Check engine light is now on. I went to another dealership and actually got service that made sense. They are working on the vehicle and putting me in a quality rental vehicle until mine is fixed. I even was got the number to the manufacture, who I’ll be calling today.

Would give zero stars if I could. My wife's Wrangler 4xe '22, with only 20,000 miles, broke down and left her stranded. After rescuing her, I towed the car to the nearest dealer and was told it would take 2-3 weeks to have the car looked at. After 3 weeks, we got a call saying the car needed a new battery pack, and we had to wait.

Throughout the process, they called me only once or twice with updates, and the car ended up sitting at the lot for nearly two months. Meanwhile, I am dealing with Jeep customer service for a $2,500 rental car refund and requesting a buyout, but that's unrelated to this review.

Three days before the car broke down, I had it fully detailed. This morning, when I collected the car, it was disgustingly filthy with pigeon droppings and dirt all over. I went back inside to ask why not even a complimentary wash was offered after the car had been on their lot for two months. The reply was simply, "We don't offer that."

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these places. There are real businesses that care about having your business.

I was nervous at first because I didn’t think I’d be able to find or get a vehicle that can work in my budget as I am a single mom with not much knowledge about deal ships except that some just want the money. But Not here!

As soon as I got there all staff were welcoming! I was helped out by Art Paine who was very helpful and honest. Friendly staff. Very convenient Express Lane option. I have been servicing my cars here for several years. But unfortunately, on my last visit, I drew the technician's attention to the fact that coolant needed to be added. The papers I received stated that the level of all fluids had been checked and added. In fact, it turned out that the coolant was still below the minimum. Now I am not sure whether the oil was changed. This is a new car that I purchased from them. How can I trust this service now?

I deleted my previous review and do to a misunderstanding about my contract when buy the car. I also deleted me 2nd review now that my issues were the result of my fault for not clearly reviewing the contracts. When I reviewed the out the door payment my down payment was included with the list of rebates which I missed so I assumed I was getting a great deal. I take the responsibility for this but I still feel like this was a tactical sales technique used on me to get me excited. The final amount was written in pen so I focused on that number and didn’t focus on the itemized list. Had I noticed how these totals were listed I should have realized their was basically zero discounts offered in the negotiation.

I came to this dealership in early July and everybody was very welcoming,, friendly, and informative. Johnathan Casselman assisted me throughout the whole process and was able to answer my questions and trying to figure out which jeep is the right jeep for me.
my jeep was built based on my specifications and it arrived in less than three months. One week after my birthday. Keith Assisted me towards the end of the financial process and facilitated everything and the most painless possible way. I was out the door ready to pick up my jeep. Jeep dealership and Escondido auto park is above and beyond the best dealership experience I’ve ever experienced and will definitely come again for future buying needs!

Easy appointment set up online to get my car serviced. On the day of the service I arrived and was quickly checked in. Eric the advisor who helped me was very profession and polite. He recommended appropriate services for my 100,000 mile check up and gave me a reasonable quote and time frame for when it would get done. Even offered Uber if I needed a ride back while my car was being serviced, which is amazing. Eric was very responsive with updates as the day was coming along and direct with issues that my car was having. Overall it was a great experience without any unexpected surprises. I would recommend this business and their service to anyone.
