Great auto shop for all of your mechanic needs. From fixing a flat to replacing a motor. Kim is your guy! I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and he’s never done me wrong. The price is nice and the service is quick!

I have been using K.T. AUto for over 25 years now, even when I had moved to three different locations within L.A. County. That's how much I trust Kim and his mechanics. He is always honest in his assessment of the problems and charges extremely fair prices.

I have always given other local mechanics opportunities with my business, but they consistently charge far more than list, and try to sell you more than you need. I only had one other mechanic that I would recommend but he has retired a few years ago.

I know more than enough because I worked through high school and college as a mechanic. Automobile technology has changed as well as the shops that offer repair services. Things get complicated and the pricing sure seems to follow that trajectory.

Kim does his best to assess any problems your vehicle may have and will offer options on which repairs are worth repairing immediately or not. He'll also warn you if the problems could be long term and cannot be permanently repaired.

I have found over the long term that it is best to stick to those who have consistently offered honest and reliable service no matter how far (within reason) away you end up living.

This has been true for my physicians as well. I travel across town through bad traffic because it is worth the trip.

I hope Kim doesn't decide to retire any time soon.

K. T. Auto is the best! It’s so nice to find an honest mechanic in my neighborhood but I would definitely drive across town for great service. I was quoted a higher price for new brake pads from Jiffy Lube along with a list of other recommendations and being stingy with coupons. Mr. Kim gave a fair and better price, and also a cheaper option if I didn’t want to go with the more expensive factory brake pads. I asked him which he would choose if it were his car and he recommended factory. At 8:30a he said he would have to order them and wasn’t did they would come today. To my surprise, he got the parts and my car was finished by 4p! I’ve had several great experiences here and I won’t be going anywhere else!

FANTASTIC service! My Mom recommended Kim from a friend of hers who was a nun & all the nuns took their car to him. Kim & his team are amazing! You’ll get great honest service with reasonable prices. Very rare find in LA.

Had to get unexpected brake pads and AC filter replaced. When I had hesitation about why, owner explained clearly and even showed me the parts that needed to be replaced which were worn and dirty.

Highly recommend. Relatively affordable and good service!

K.T. Auto is THE BEST!! They they charge WAY LESS than the local dealership (K.T. has done repairs for 1/3 of the cost than what a dealership quoted me), they get repairs done fast, AND they go above and beyond every time (example: I brought my car in to get my shocks repaired, K.T. noticed my headlight was cracked, and they repaired it for free).

I HIGHLY recommend going to them before going to a dealership. They will give you a fair price and great service every time.
