First and foremost, best buying experience. Huge shout out to Chris Cole who got me into the car I wanted with a no nonsense approach. I came in, knew what I wanted and had a payment range I wanted to stay within. Within minutes, Chris Cole got me realistic payment figures with no hidden tax or fees. Just simply real payment figures that were within my desired range. On top of that, Chris Cole was very knowledgeable, had a legitimate answer to all my questions and just overall made the whole buying experience very easy and quick. I am very satisfied with my experience at Mossy Ford and truly recommend it to anyone in the market for a vehicle. If you want a hassle free experience buying a car with honest staff, realistic figures and a no pressure environment, I personally 100 percent wholeheartedly recommend Mossy Ford.

I gave a 2/5 for recommending to others due to the fact that SOME of your team is clear and friendly. However, for my last service, I’m giving a 1/5 due to the following: At the initial drop off, Robert Maya was clear that a diagnostic needed to be performed in order for the Ford team to understand the problem. That made sense, but I reiterated my concern was that since I had come in just a month prior, it would be nice even if it was their fault or something they missed would be identified. After the diagnosis was performed, he sent over a summary detailing what the P0302 code meant and that there was a burning smell when my car ran due to that the cylinder 2 was misfiring. The quote for repairs was $8000, but the details of repairs that needed to be performed to explain the $8k was not stated.
After trying to work with me on financing options or using manufactured parts, I told him my budget was to not exceed $1.5k as any further issues with my car would be quite a surprise since it’s only a 2018 model and just had it’s 50k mile tuneup, so I ultimately had to decline services and went to pick up my car.
At time of pickup, I was assisted by another gentleman who then explained to me that a whole new engine was required, which Robert never stated. He said he hoped that “Ford” could come back with a finance plan but that could take a day or several weeks. After a few days, Robert called/left a voicemail that Ford would be able to cover half the cost - still a $4k charge to replacing the engine.
Cut to 3 weeks later, I had only driven the car home from Mossy Ford and twice more on <15mile trips as the service lights were off and no other symptoms were occurring. I finally began to smell the faint burning so I took it to first Autozone to confirm the fix to the service engine code P0302 to which they explained that although multiple cases could be an issue, most of the time replacing the spark plug / ignition coil 2 may do the trick. So I went to another mechanic, and for just $360 and replacing that spark plug, my car is fixed. After realizing I was able to have my vehicle repaired at another establishment for 10th of the cost your store proposed, I can’t help but feel like I was being deceived due to the large discrepancy and cost and lack of clarity on the details of the repair.
