I am ALWAYS very impressed when I go into the store..it's is filled with everything I need and everything I want..I usually walk out of there with a bag of ggoodies.
The hiking selection is great.
I am an avid hiker/camper and they have the items I usually forget when I get out there. To see the items in person is key to me to make an accurate list.
The staff is ALWAYS friendly and knowledgeable.
I will continue to recommend this store to others...and hopefully they will become a member too.

As I walked in, I felt very welcomed, and the team was very professional and knowledgeable. I was looking to get into biking, and I was given different options and I was even offered to try different bikes. I ended up buying something I really loved and I’m very grateful for the staff.

I went to this REI location a few weeks ago looking to buy a new bike. The staff there is incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt like they really understood what I wanted and they never tried to upsell me on anything I didn’t need, which I always appreciate. They helped me find the right bike fit, and even went out of their way to locate the exact bike I wanted at a nearby location when it wasn’t available at their store or even for online order. I was very satisfied with my experience here, and I will definitely be back for all my cycling/outdoor needs!

Excellent selection of everything you may need to enjoy the outdoors, staffed by professionals who are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. There's also a bike shop/service center on-site. We bought and had our bikes serviced here and have been very happy.

I bought a mountain bike from here and brought a couple friends in to have the same experience, the staff here at this REI have been some of the best that I’ve encountered. Today I somehow managed to get two flats, I brought it in to see if they can help me find out how since it wasn’t obvious what caused the two flats. I met with Neil who very meticulously inspected to tire and rim who couldn’t turn up anything either. He suggested that I leave it for his team of bike mechanics the next day but that didn’t suit my needs for today, I had some trouble finding the right tube as well so not only did he find my tube but he gave me two for not being able to solve my problem right away, that’s his business practice, no problems only solutions. Thank you Neil for this pleasurable experience, this is definitely my favorite REI.

I much prefer this REI location to the Norwalk or Bergen locations. Bike shop staff are knowledgeable and kind. Turn-around time for my service was over-night. Technical knowledge of apparel amongst floor staff seems to be lacking, in comparison. Parking is a dream! Covered behind/below and open parking in the front of the store.

I just became a member & just received my first online order from them. One of the items was not what I expected but even after they explained to me that what I received was what was shown online, they still fixed things for me! I'm a REI convert now. I plan to continue business with them indefinitely. Oh, and their Milford store is rather nice! Worth going to the store instead of just shopping on their website.
