Stay away from Jan and Vtec Lasers & Sensors, It saddens us to write this as we wanted to settle amicably, However, Jan and Vtec lasers are not a reputable company to do business with.

We started back in November when Jan contacted us and Ordered an L-band Tunable Laser, Jan himself ,the owner, ordered this and wanted us to expedite it because they needed the device as soon as possible. Out of courtesy we did just that.

Jan gave us the wrong account information and never paid for the laser, we contacted Jan many times, He had the device for over 4-5 months. Jan finally decided to answer us after HE stole the device and wanted to return it at our cost. A device he ordered. Even then we tried to work with him and asked JAN and Vtec lasers to pay a restocking fee and to return the device. Months later we received the device but no restocking fee. We have months of email exchanges to prove this and will be reporting and posting this where everyone can see, so other businesses are not affected and Jan can not to this to anyone else.

VTEC Lasers and Sensors is nice place for student to start up. You learn a lot during you internship and what you cant learn from school. It really give you a nice start up before you go into the outside world. And the peoples are really friendly and nice.
